We are passionate in our belief that education is the best path to a grooming career - for the groomer, the dogs, the owners and the industry overall. By gaining a qualification groomers have been assessed to be competent in all the skills needed to groom safely and successfully.
We recognise that grooming tutors have a difficult and challenging job and we are keen to provide a community through our Facebook Tutor Group and a series of Tutor Days where education providers of all levels can meet to share ideas, bond and learn from each other.
The first of these days will be hosted by Mutneys at their head office in Market Drayton on Sunday 16th October 2022. Places are limited to 40 and we are asking for a *non-refundable contribution of £20 per person to cover costs. Lunch will be provided. A maximum of two tickets per school/college have been allocated.
*tickets can be transferred to other tutors.
By popular demand this is the first of its kind.
Topics currently up for conversation are:
- Level 2 syllabus
- How to provide good theory knowledge
- What is an acceptable length of course?
- What to do when a student doesn't listen?
- Materials that tutors need to support their students
- Making a dull topic hotter than Brad Pitt
Doors open at 9:00 for a 9:30 start. 4:00 finish.
The Mutneys team will be on hand if you have any shopping requirements.
